Mexico Stock Exchange – New Exchange Code MF

Prior to March 10, 2019, the Exchange Code ‘MM’ represented Bolsa Mexican de Valores (BMV) and the Mexico Composite; ‘MM’ was not a true composite Exchange Code.  

In preparation for the creation of the Mexico true Composite with Exchange Code ‘MM’, effective starting March 8, 2019 and completing March 10, 2019, BMV securities will change Exchange Code from ‘MM’ to ‘MF’.

FIGIs will not change. However, Local Exchange FIGIs for Bolsa Mexican de Valores (BMV), previously linked with Exchange Code ‘MM’ will be linked to ‘MF’ after the change.

Also after the change, ‘MM’ will become a true composite Exchange Code.

Exchange Code ‘MU’ will continue to represent Bolsa Institucional de Valores (BIVA) and remains unchanged.
