1. Public Domain Dedication
Bloomberg Finance L.P., a limited partnership organized and existing under the laws of the State of Delaware with offices at 731 Lexington Avenue, New York, New York 10022 ("Bloomberg"), hereby dedicates FIGI Identifiers to the public domain and makes FIGI Identifiers available to the public at large for free to facilitate trading, processing and reporting of financial transactions, and research on securities and other financial instruments. This Public Domain Dedication is provided in accordance with Bloomberg’s role as both the Registration Authority and a Certified Provider of the FIGI Identifiers, as selected by Object Management Group (“OMG”), a global not-for-profit technology standards consortium.
"FIGI Identifier" or “FIGI” means a unique string of alphanumeric characters that designate a specific security or other financial instrument. OMG has officially adopted the FIGI as the standard methodology for identifying financial instruments. Bloomberg makes this dedication for the benefit of the public at large and to the detriment of Bloomberg's successors and assigns.
Bloomberg intends this dedication to be an overt act of relinquishment in perpetuity of any present and future rights under copyright law, whether vested or contingent, in the FIGI Identifiers, to the extent any such rights exist. Bloomberg understands that such relinquishment of all rights includes the relinquishment of all rights to enforce (by lawsuit or otherwise) any copyrights in the FIGI Identifiers, to the extent such rights exist. Bloomberg recognizes that FIGI Identifiers may be freely reproduced, distributed, transmitted, used, modified, built upon, or otherwise exploited by anyone for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial, and in any way, including by methods that have not yet been invented or conceived as per the OMG standard.
Bloomberg acknowledges that you are free, on a non-exclusive basis, to use, display, reproduce, distribute and create derivative works from the FIGI Identifiers in the course of your business or otherwise, including redistribution of the FIGI Identifiers to your customers for their use.
2. Updates
Bloomberg will from time to time assign new FIGI Identifiers to additional securities and financial instruments. You may request, using the request service, the assignment of new FIGI Identifiers to additional securities and financial instruments. However, Bloomberg will be under no obligation to do so.

BLOOMBERG ATTEMPTS TO ENSURE THE INTEGRITY AND ACCURACY OF FIGI IDENTIFIERS AND THE DESCRIPTIONS OF THE ASSOCIATED SECURITIES AND FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS PROVIDED BY BLOOMBERG IN DATABASES OR COMPILATIONS OF FIGI IDENTIFIERS ("RELATED SECURITY DESCRIPTIONS"), BUT MAKES NO GUARANTEE AS TO THE CORRECTNESS OR ACCURACY OF EITHER. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FIGI IDENTIFIERS AND RELATED SECURITY DESCRIPTIONS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS," WITH NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. 4. No Trademark License
You may make fair use of the "FIGI" and “OPENFIGI” marks (collectively “Marks”) as permitted by law to refer to these FIGI Identifiers. However, please note that neither you nor your affiliates are in any way authorized (i) to use the Marks in any manner likely to create the impression that such mark is associated with you or that Bloomberg or any of Bloomberg's affiliates endorse(s) or sponsor(s) your activities or (ii) to use Bloomberg's or its affiliates' other trademarks, service marks or trade names
5. Revisions
Bloomberg may, from time to time, modify these terms, provided that under no circumstance shall Bloomberg terminate, modify or repudiate the license grant in paragraph 1. Any modifications to the terms shall be effective as soon as the modified version of these terms is posted on www.openfigi.com. You can determine when these terms were last revised by referring to the "LAST UPDATED" text of the then-current version of these terms on www.openfigi.com.
6. Contributions
If you submit information or feedback to this site or to Bloomberg or its affiliates through an account or otherwise, unless a separate written agreement exists otherwise, you hereby grant Bloomberg and its affiliates a nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, copy, and display such material throughout the world in any form, media, or technology now known or hereafter developed. You also permit any other user to access, store, or reproduce such material for that user's personal use. You grant Bloomberg and its affiliates the right to use the name that you submit in connection with such material.
By submitting any information or feedback to this site, you represent and warrant that: (i) you are authorized to grant the rights set forth herein; (ii) you own or otherwise control all of the rights to the material that you submit; (iii) the material you submit is truthful, accurate and not misleading; (iv) use of the material you supply will not cause injury to any person or entity; and (v) you will indemnify Bloomberg and its affiliates for and hold Bloomberg and its affiliates harmless from all claims resulting from the material you supply, including but not limited to misrepresentations in the information or non-compliance with the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, the Investment Company Act of 1940, as amended, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, as amended, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended and/or state blue sky laws (collectively “U.S. Securities Laws”).

The parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to the propriety or convenience of venue therein. You acknowledge and agree that Bloomberg may delegate certain of its responsibilities, obligations and duties in connection with the FIGI Identifiers to a third party or an affiliate of Bloomberg, which may discharge those responsibilities, obligations and duties on behalf of Bloomberg.
